The JDSU WaveReady solutions are made of simple, cost effective products that enable network operators and service providers to deploy leading edge services on a reliable, scalable, and easy to use WDM optical infrastructure. The WaveReady solutions are designed to upgrade existing infrastructures to address the strong growth of traffic in metro and access optical networks. Designed for plug-and-play deployment, the WaveReady platform requires minimal effort to install, turn-up, and manage.

The WaveReady platform is carrier grade solution that is field proven and is NEBS-3 certified. It supports many applications including: wavelength services, fiber exhaust solutions, Ethernet aggregation, optical demarcation solutions, DWDM transport, CWDM access solutions, optical amplifier systems, Datacenter interconnects, storage area network (SAN) extension, optical regeneration, optical protection, and optical network monitoring.

WaveReady is approved for use for telecommunications systems of Rural Utilities Service (RUS) borrowers and is included as part of the USDA List of Acceptable Materials.
